A MEETING OF THE POLICE AUTHORITIES OF WALES (PAW) JOINT COMMITTEE has been arranged for 10.30 a.m. on Friday 8th April 2011 at the Media Resource Centre, (MRC), Oxford Road, Llandrindod Wells.
AGENDA
1. To receive a presentation from Rhondda Cynon Taff Local Authority on the Excellence Wales winning project KAFKA – community informed service provision.
2. Welcome and apologies for absence.
3. To receive any declarations of interest.
4. To receive the Chairperson's announcements.
5. To confirm the minutes of the PAW meeting held on 21st January 2011 and to consider any matters arising from the minutes and progress against the action sheet that is not contained elsewhere in the agenda.
6. To consider the report of the Executive Officer.
7. To consider and approve the following Collaboration reports:
a) WAG Liaison Officer to present:
i) National Policing Plan for Wales 2011/14
ii) The Project Plan of delivery
b) WAG Liaison Officer to present a report on the draft Register of Collaboration and the register as an appendix.
c) WAG Liaison Officer to present the proposed revised governance structure for collaboration projects and protective services across Wales.
d) WAG Liaison Officer to present the collaboration programme
projects update.
e) Director of Finance and Resources for the collaboration programme to present the financial report of collaboration in Wales 2010/11.
8. To receive a report from the PAW Chief Finance Officer on the current issues in police finance.
9. To receive a report from the Legal Advisor to PAW on the revised standing orders for PAW.
10. To consider a report on behalf of the Chair of ACPO Cymru.
11. To consider an update on the Olympics position for policing in Wales.
