PAW Chair Delyth Humfryes receives MBE

Police Authorities of Wales is pleased to announce that Mrs Delyth Humfryes, Chair of the Police Authority has been named on the Queen's honours list. Delyth Humfryes, has been appointed an MBE for her services to the community in West Wales.

Mrs Humfryes has been a Police Authority Member for the last 12 years and was appointed to the role of Chair for Dyfed Powys two years ago. Mrs Humfryes has demonstrated a firm commitment to ensuring policing services delivered to the diverse communities within the Dyfed-Powys area are efficient, effective and accountable to the public.

Mrs Humfryes has been at the forefront in raising the profile of Police Authorities and Forces in Wales as Chair of the Police Authorities in Wales, liaising with the Welsh Government and Home Office on major policing proposals and driving collaboration to consistently maintain efficient high quality policing services.

Mrs Humfryes has also been involved with a number of voluntary organisations in West Wales.
